I thought that they would be a possible art material. Curious about the pods. How would they change with age?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class='centered' src=\"\/images\/TecomaFlowersPods_IMG_2370.jpg\" alt=\"Tecoma Flowers and Pods\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class='centered' src=\"\/images\/TecomaSeeds_IMG_2392.jpg\" alt=\"Tecoma Seeds\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class='centered' src=\"\/images\/TecomaParts_IMG_2395.jpg\" alt=\"Tecoma Parts\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The reddish-brown speckled pods bring to mind young birch branches.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class='centered' src=\"\/images\/TecomaPods_IMG_2379.jpg\" alt=\"Tecoma Pods\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hope to weave them with wool and cotton fiber. Unfortunately, they are quite fragile. In the past I would have used hot wax to make them more usable, to give them strength to withstand the stitching and weaving processes.
