The Morning Glories were grown from harvested seed.
The Morning Glories needed more space for growth.
Knew the cotton and jute Icords would come in handy, some day.
A patch of volunteer Morning Glories.
For nearly two months my Bowiea was just a bulb. No growth. In the past before one section died back another was sprouting.
This morning the bulb looked like this–
Removed Plant from Medium 2020 July 27
Eraser Used to Clean Up
Spent Stems
Used the Spent Stems With Tan Wool Yarn to Make an Icord
Stitched the Icord Together to Make a Small Vessel
The plant is vining so I rotate it a couple of times a day.
The Bowiea flowers are quite small, but lovely.
New Growth 2020 October 26
South African National Biodiversity Institute–PlantZAfrica
Candytuft (Iberis)
The plant is a volunteer from a wildflower seed mix planted last year. It is growing in a pot of French dandelions I am growing for the bunnies.
Nigella
I topped the Nigella and it developed flowers lower on the stem. Don’t recall this ever happening in the past.
Grasshopper Inside Screen Door to Back Garden
It climbed to the top of the door and hopped onto one of my Brazilian White Brugmansia.
Brugmansia Leaves Damaged by Insects
I gently removed all of the soil and transplanted into five pots.
I bound the plants to give them a little support until they settle in.
Two leaves were broken. Even though the leaves were a bit yellow and didn’t appear healthy, I thought I would try propagating them in water. Better than throwing them in the recycle bin.
I notched the bottom of the leaf after reading an article about propagating Sansevieria in water.
Brachychiton Leaf
Volunteer Geranium dissectum Found in Pot of French Dandelions
After I collected the Milkweed pods, I popped them in a pot and left them on the workbench in my studio.
Popped a bag over the lot to prevent the seeds from flying about.
