Two Year Old Ice Plant Start
I snagged a start of the ice plant from a friend’s garden. Today I noticed the ice plant bud appeared to be opening. Was unclear how that might happen. The stem of connected to the bud is brown dried and the leaves are yellowing.

Cool Plant in the Neighborhood
I am loving the plant–buds, flowers, and foliage. Googled it. Not sure which Feijoa cultivar it might be.
The plant is quite large. One side of our deck looks out onto the next door parking lot. Would be nice not to see it. Currently there is a Cordia boissieri in the location that just isn’t doing well. Maybe a Feijoa would be the solution.
I’ve never had guava.
